Critical Worldplay!
On today’s episode we’re discussing how language shapes our reality. Specifically the words terrorism and what our psychologists consider extremist ideas. The word extremist is subjective. It's loosely defined as someone with extreme social ideas. This ambiguity creates opportunity to re-classify people's positive social intentions as extreme.
For example; Black Trans Feminism is a body of ideas advocating for the right to life for everyone, free of any hindering force.
Quoting Marquis Bey it’s a recalibration of how we understand ways of being and ways of not being in our world. It’s active interrogation of what we think we know about our world.
It disrupts distinct identity groups and narratives that say we can't understand differently. It recognizes we're all entangled in this system, this world. Everything is everything.
This body of ideas is drastically different from a society who believes profits come before the lives of the people who generate them.
